Åsa Malmström-Rognes

 

Åsa Malmström Rognes is a researcher/post doc at the Department of Economic History, Uppsala University. Åsa is a conducting post doctoral research at the Department of Economic History, Uppsala University. Her research interests include financial history, business history and East Asian economies.She finished her PhD in economic history at Uppsala university in 2016 and with a thesis entitled Family Matters: Families, Firms and Funding in the Philippines 1850-2014. Prior to pursuing her PhD Åsa spent almost twenty years working in financial services and financial sector development in Sweden and East Asia. Hse received her MSc in Economics at Stockholm School of Economics. Åsa will primarily work on Regulatory traditions and legislative homogenization in the Upier project.
